Babyz was originally designed for Windows 95/98. It worked on XP but barely. There is a patch available to modify the game itself, its easy to download and installs the updates. You can safely apply the patches below to get Babyz running properly on XP, Vista, and Windows 7. The patch modify's a couple of files in the program so that they run ok. The patch
Does Not make any changes to your System or Windows.
If you need your key-codes for the game, after you install the patch, they are stored in the help files. There are a number of Babyz to adopt, you can also check out the links below to customize your Babyz or you can find premade ones available as well.
You must be logged in as an Administrator or have an Administrator Privelige on your Windows Computer. Please go to the Windows Control Panel from the Start Menu of your PC and go to User Accounts in Windows to check your accounts level of access. Most PC's will have you set as an Administrator type Account by default. Windows XP is the easiest to Patch. Windows 7 also patched just fine. Windows Vista tends to be a problem child, no pun intended, with the patch. It puts up serious sounding warnings that make you feel like its Doomsday if you say Yes to them. We have used this patch on hundreds of installations. It installs itself with little or no help. You just have to make sure that you click on the install when you download it. It really is a cool game. I am an 80's Child and this is one of the first computer games we had when we could finally afford a computer in the mid 90's. This is the original title as published by UBISoft. They don't make it anymore, nor do they support it. But there are several really good communities on the web that actively play the game and have free information on everything from installing the game and patching it, to making your own Babyz and other features for the game.
